A helpful guide for Brands preparing their collections for uploading to Programa.
Getting Started
Once you've registered your account and setup your brand/s, you can either add your products one-by-one through the Brand Portal, or we can work with you to upload your products in bulk.
For Bulk Uploading, the process is:
- Setup your account (more here)
- Gather your product information and send to us
- We will clean and organise your data, and convert to our format
- We will then send you your cleaned product data for review and approval
- Once approved, we will upload your products to your account
Depending on the volume of products and the level of organisation of your product data, the process will take between 1-4 weeks. Once your data is uploaded you can edit your products in your Brand Portal.
Step 1 - Organising Your Products
This is the hardest step and we'll do our best to lighten the load on you or your team. Hopefully, if you've recently updated your website or marketing material you'll have this information handy.
Ideally, we'd like to receive your entire collection in a single spreadsheet. If this isn't possible or you're too busy, not to worry, we'll do the best we can with the format you have.
> You can download our Product Data Bulk Upload spreadsheet here.

For Wordpress
Given most Wordpress websites are unique it will depend on how your site is built. In most cases your website developer will be able to assist.
For Custom Websites
For large, custom-built websites your website developer should be able to export your product collection without too much trouble. When deciding which information to export, we recommend exporting everything and we can simply skip information we don't require.
Product Data FAQ
Do we need to include prices?
We require RRP to be listed and visible for those products that can be easily priced. For those products that are genuinely difficult to price (eg highly customisable, modular etc) we will temporarily allow empty pricing. We will be releasing added pricing functionality in the coming weeks such as 'priced from' (due late August) and other indicative pricing options (due September).
What are product features?
'Features' for a product are anything you think might make it easier for users to quickly find your product. For example this might be leather, modern, 3 seat, sustainable, velvet, etc.
Can we allocate a product to multiple categories?
Yes you can add a product to 2 categories, with one category nominated as the primary category. The product will appear in searches for both categories.
How do you handle product variants?
In order to make the schedule function work with specific product numbers or SKUs, all products need to be uploaded as individual products. For those products with many, many variants, we recommend uploading a single product, use images showing the variants, and explain clearly in the description that there are variants available (colours, sizes, finishes etc).
Our products are all custom, what do we do?
We recommend uploading an example product, with an indicative price point RRP. You can easily explain the product's customisation process and options in the text description.
Step 2 - Organising Your Images
Accepted File Types
Accepted formats are JPEG, PNG and SVG.
Files & Folder Structure
Brand > Collection or Category > Product Name > Images
Brand > Product Name > Images
File Sizes, Dimensions and Layout
Programa is an online-only platform so high resolution web images are preferred. The dimensions of the original image you upload to our site can have a big impact on how it displays. We recommend using images that are between 1500 and 2500 pixels wide.
Please note that images smaller than 1000px wide may appear blurry and landscape images are preferred, however we do accept vertical images.
Step 3 - Organising Your Technical Downloads
Accepted File Types
Accepted formats are PDF, DWG, 3DM, OBJ, DAE, RVT and SKP.
Files & Folder Structure
Brand > Collection or Category > Product Name > Files
Brand > Product Name > Files
